With the improvement of the quality of power transmission and transformation equipment installed in the company's system, the reliability of its operation has been greatly improved, but the problem of joint heating has occurred from time to time, which has gradually become a major problem affecting the safe operation of the equipment.

In order to eliminate the hidden dangers of equipment, fundamentally solve the problem of overheating of the joints, and comprehensively improve the reliability of equipment operation, the company’s production technology department investigated the advanced practices of other provincial and municipal power companies and learned that the Sichuan Power Company adopted the national patent (ZL 01 2 14234.4L ) The product has obvious effects in solving the problem of joint heating, and some experience has been obtained.

This patented product has the following advantages: special processing of the nut, which increases the effective current-carrying cross-sectional area; thickened nut, increases the fastening force and conductor contact pressure, and reduces the contact resistance; adopts concave The nut enhances the anti-fatigue ability; the self-cleaning nut is used to eliminate the flat washer and reduce the contact resistance of the electrical contact.

In view of the above advantages of this patented product and the trial experience of relevant network province companies, the company decided to carry out trial work in various power supply units, and asked each unit to do the following work:

1. Probation period: from October 1, 2008 to April 1, 2009.

2. Trial scope: all electrical joint heating defects are dealt with; joint bolts are replaced with patented products during the overhaul of the isolating switch; bolts that need to be replaced during the maintenance of other equipment.

3. In the trial process, if the equipment clamp needs to be replaced or modified due to the installation size and process requirements of the special fasteners for the joints, this patented product may not be used.

4. All power supply units and design institutes are requested to compile installation process specifications for special fasteners for joints according to the manufacturer's construction requirements to ensure the reliability of installation quality.

5. Each unit shall analyze the trial situation of its own unit and submit the trial summary to the company's production technology department before April 30, 2009.
